Who Should Not Use Marvelon:  Avoid using Marvelon if you:  Are pregnant or breastfeeding  Are over 35 and smoke  Have a history of heart disease, stroke, blood clots, or uncontrolled high blood pressure  Have liver tumors or severe migraines with aura  Patient Education & Guidance:  Missed Pills: If you miss one or more tablets, your protection may be reduced. Refer to the patient leaflet or consult a healthcare provider for guidance.  What if you vomit or have diarrhea? If vomiting or severe diarrhea occurs within 3–4 hours after taking a pill, it may not work properly. Take another pill as soon as possible.  Not for STI protection: Marvelon does not protect against HIV/AIDS or other sexually transmitted infections (STIs)—use a condom for protection.  When to consult a doctor:  If you experience unusual bleeding, severe headaches, leg pain, shortness of breath, or vision changes  If you miss your period and suspect pregnancy  Before use if you have a history of blood clots, liver disease, or hormone-sensitive conditions
